I'm Waseek Lareef, a passionate Data Enthusiast and AI Researcher focused on transforming data into intelligent, real-world solutions. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Information Technology specializing in Data Science and I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science to further deepen my expertise in machine learning, advanced analytics, and AI systems.
My research and projects focus on solving complex problems using data-driven approaches. For my undergraduate research, I developed an Explainable AI decision support system for early lung cancer detection using multi-omics data and deep learning, aiming to improve clinical decision-making.
I have hands-on experience across the full data lifecycle, including data warehousing, ETL processes, data analysis, and machine learning model development, with strong skills in Python, SQL, and Tableau. I enjoy building scalable data solutions, optimizing workflows, and exploring innovative ways to turn complex data into meaningful insights.
